Warzone Resurrection Army Spotlight: Tomasz Sierakowski

One of our community members from Poland, Tomasz Sierakowski, submitted some photographs of his glorious Bauhaus army recently and we decided to share them with you fine folks.

Tomasz, like many Polish wargamers of a particular age, is a long-time Mutant Chronicles fan. When Warzone Resurrection first got announced, he was a little suspicious of it, but quickly changed his mind and started collecting the new range of Prodos Games resin figures. Here are two of his Venusian Rangers, on the left from Prodos Games’ 2014 range and on the right from the Heartbreaker Miniatures 1995 range.

As you can see, the difference is huge! Tomasz decided to follow the Prodos Games studio colour scheme, which is actually based on the original Target Games studio scheme as seen on the right.

And here is the full squad (sans Booby Trap token), upgraded to carry a Rocket Launcher. Keep in mind, for every 5 soldiers in the squad, 2 may carry a Rocket Launcher!

Artillery 02

Next up are the BAK. The Bauhaus Artillery Korps. Renowned throughout the Solar System for their devastating ability to crush foes under a variety of artillery devices.

Baron von Jaeger 01

Tomasz could not resist upgrading his BAK with Baron Von Jaeger. A very characterful model of a slightly Prussian looking officer of the Artillery Korps. His unhinged personality is represented in the game by a host of cool special skills which you can find in our PDF rules, free to download on our website.

Vorreiters 01

The Vorreiters show the Central European influences of the Bauhaus Corporation and Tomasz, being Polish, could not resist putting the Hussar Wing on each of the riders. The Vorreiter Regiments specialise in quickly traversing the warzone and surgically removing the core of an opposing army.

Vulkan 01 Venusian Marshal 01 Hussars 01

Tomasz started his Bauhaus army by purchasing the Bauhaus Starter Box. This contains the 10 Hussars, Vulkan Battlesuit and Venusian Marshal that are illustrated above. These highly detailed resin figures make the main part of Tomasz’ army. His Hussars are among the most skilled Line Infantry in the whole game, specialising in working as a team and knowledgeable use of their ranged weaponry. The Vulkan has been modelled to represent either the Fist-bearing Vulkan or the Ranged Weapon Vulkan by applying one of each weapon (Tomasz chooses which before the game starts). We suggested to Tomasz that a unit of 3 Vulkans would be really very devastating! He is working on adding those to his collection! The Venusian Marshal is currently his army’s Warlord, but will eventually be replaced by a named Hero and then become a Squad Upgrade for his Hussars instead.

As you can clearly see, Tomasz’ army is a really cohesive force, unified by a striking colour scheme and a clearly considered selection of troops.
