The first wave of CSW Models has been released. A range of 18mm models will represent the game in three dimensions using the boardgame rules. The models have been sculpted by Xan Miniatures, and you can check them out at the VG Store

For its first release, Vedra Games has chosen The Union of Terra Combat Sword. Its first wave consists of 9 models (8 infantry and 1 vehicle), presented in 4 blisters:

Command Squad Blister (18mm Metal)

1 Major Brigade

The rank of Major is reserved for army professionals with specific strategic and tactical training.

As well as their innate leadership skills, these terran army members have served in a great number of campaigns, so they are usually veterans with martial skills that surpass those of the rest of soldiers.

1 Sergeant Brigade

Brigades and the majority of units are supervised by lower ranking leaders commonly known as sergeants.

These soldiers act as the bridge between high command and the army, but they are also trained to lead small units independently if the situation so requires.

1 Tech Brigade

In order to gain tactical flexibility, some recruits with mechanical skills or knowledge of computer science are appointed to the Brigades to help in the first line of combat..

As well as fighting like any other soldier, they are also charged with the maintenance and repair of the unit´s equipment.

1 Med Brigade

The most fortunate Combat Swords include, amongst their ranks, medical and surgical specialists.

Med Brigades are specially appreciated by their peers, because they are as efficient in causing enemy casualties as they are in keeping their own alive.

2 Brigades

The Brigades are light units that make up the base of Terra´s combat forces.

Although there are some differences between them, depending on which corporation they belong to, most are equipped with the trustworthy assault gun “Arkanos”, a Kevlar vest and a characteristic helmet.

2 Support Brigades

Some Brigade squads have specialists trained to perform very specific tasks on the battlefield. Support Brigades are probably the most common among them.

These units, though slower than conventional Brigades, have devastating heavy weaponry and superior range. This makes them ideal when providing cover fire or defending a fortified post.

Hunter Blister (18mm Resin)

1 Hunter

Hunters are 4×4 quads with a fire power similar to that of the Support Brigades. In contrary to the latter, hunters are quick units able to operate either in groups or by themselves.

They are usually sent to make precise attacks or to act as fast, strong reserves whenever the situation reaches a critical point in the fighting front.
