Springtime is upon us, and for TTS, that means lots of bugs! Today we have our Starship Troopers Arachnid project. This commission consisted of 38 Starship Trooper Arachnid models and one giant Forge World Hierophant, all done to our tabletop level. These unique tyranid warrior proxies came from the short-lived 2005 miniature game designed by Andy Chambers, of Games Workshop fame. There are quite a few models from this range that would make excellent nid proxies if you can find them nowadays, such as the burrower and tanker bugs.

      We are always willing to try to find thrifty alternatives to make a great project fit within our client’s budget. For this project, we kept the gore effects simple and low-cost by using leftover bitz and hot glue. You can check out the full album and the video tour below, let us know what you think!

 

       Our work on the Arcane Factories KS fulfillment is also springing forward (seasonal pun!) with the setup of our new casting room and modification of pressure pots.
