The Roots of Magic: “Students of Sorcery” Kickstarter Coming in November!
Grand Arcanum Games is delighted to announce the upcoming The Roots of Magic: Students of Sorcery Kickstarter.
It will run from the week of 14th November and the project is geared towards funding models from wave 2: the apprentice Wizards – or Acolytes as they are known within the game. We are planning for a wave of models every bit as beautiful and detailed as those already available; check out http://therootsofmagic.com if you aren’t familiar with out line, you will not be disappointed!
Each of the eight factions will see an Acolyte that improves elements of the master Wizards game, adds new strategies to the faction, or is simply a strong wizard or fighter in their own right. Without wanting to give too much away, here are the names and factions of the models:
Zhym, Recorder of Truths [Acedia]
Hesten Graf, the Red Hand [Diabolists]
Mirella, Honour’s Shield [Durant]
Will O’ the Woods [Feylyn]
Bess Rohe, the Fountainhead [Malleoch]
Deidra, Maiden of Sorrows [Myrke]
Guang Jin, Mistress of Veils [Qing]
Q’ara, the Prodigy [Travium]
There will also be a limited number of models as stretch goals, depending on how successful the project becomes. I won’t share any details here but there are some rather cool ones in there!
A new scenario will be released to coincide with the new models. Do you dare to breach the arcane wards of Tolven’s Vault? What terrors and mysteries might lay within…
