The Open Combat miniature skirmish rules allow you to use any miniatures you like

Second Thunder have been running a Kickstarter campaign to move their Open Combat rules for fighting miniature skirmish battles from a purely digital PDF edition to a physical book.

The campaign ends on March 21st at 10pm GMT.

The project is funded and you can get the Open Combat rules in high quality hardback for just £15 (+shipping).

At the time of writing the campaign is closing in on unlocking two final stretch goals a set of custom dice and expanded scenarios for inclusion in the book.
