Commissars (or Kommissars if you prefer 😉 ) – these men are undoubtfuly an exceptional individuals. They are the instruments of will of high-rank officers and commanders, men of great will, unquestionable loyalty and the most impressing charisma. They’ll do anything to keep the troops fighting on the battlefield, to improve their morale and to keep their motivation level high, even if it means shooting a supposed deserter or two. Why is that you might ask? The answer is simple: nothing boosts the morale better, than seeing your fellow soldier’s head explode into pieces! That kind of action sets the example for the entire squad, platoon or even the whole company.
