Quick overview:

When at a tournament or playing a game of X-Wing or Star Trek / D&D Attack Wing with friends, we all know what happens when people use the slippery plastic trays from fast food restaurants. 

We created a solution for this, our Tournament Tray.

In addition, we also created the modular Transport Solution, incorporating the Tournament Tray into a system with which you can easily carry all your space ships, tokens, cards, maneuver wheels and everything else to the game venue safely and in style. Everything is organized and quick to set up. Be ready and relax while the others still pick up their pieces from the floor.

The Transport Solution Set offers minimal setup time:  

1. take out ships  

2. place token-inserts next to token box  

3. insert ruler tray  

4. play!

We also have acrylic movement templates and lots of different tokens compatible with X-Wing, Star Trek Attack Wing and D&D Attack Wing.

All items are precision-laser cut.

Now for the details:

We designed over 25 different acrylic tokens to be used in the game instead of the cardboard ones. Even though they are marked as X-Wing or Star Trek AW, a lot of them can be interchanged of course. We will create D&D AW tokens as a stretch goal. 

These add style and durability to your game. 

• Each pack of tokens is available in your choice of 7 acrylic colors.
• All tokens come as 7 tokens per pack except: 
• Corner markers: 10
• Target Lock tokens: 6 (3 of each color)
• Mini Target Locks: 12 (6 of each color)
• For all Target Lock tokens: These will be available with different letter ranges from A-C all the way to X-Z.

• all movement template sets include the range ruler also!
• select either the reward for X-Wing OR the STAW / D&D versions. These have different amounts of templates in the set, hence different prices.
• of course the arcs and sizes are appropriate to the game that you choose.
• available in your choice of 7 acrylic colors.
• custom name engraving is possible ( # 1 and 2 straights will only have initials, does not apply to range ruler)
• a name or phrase can be engraved on the range ruler also, instead of the numbers. Pictures feature samples of this phrase engraving. Please select the appropriate items in the add-on options for this.

We use fluorescent acrylic for the colored acrylic (green, blue, yellow, orange & red colors), all colors are transparent. 

The fluorescent colors especially look really good in reality, as the edges seem to glow, depending on the amount of light, and the engravings stand out well. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to photograph them to truly represent the colors.

• great to easily move your game-material from one table to another during a tournament or to display your ships in your cabinet.
• no more searching for the movement templates, or loosing / breaking them.
• foam padding on the underside of the template tray, so no scratching of the table or tray.
• comes with 2 separate trays: one for the movement templates (you can also use your own acrylic or the original cardboard versions of the templates) and one for the spaceships .
• there are different versions for X-Wing and STAW / D&DAW.
• there will be 2 layouts to choose from for each version, with either 3 large / 10 small or 2 large / 14 small ship spaces.
• the trays can be locked together with little locking stubs (included).
• this way the Tournament Tray takes up little space in your bag, and the maneuver templates are securely stored.
• also available as an add-on are hand-grips in addition to the locking stubs, to make moving around even easier.
• set the Template Tray on the gaming table, and you always have the movement templates well organized.
• The Spaceship Tray can be custom engraved with a name or phrase as an option.

Add-on boxes for the Tournament Tray:

• there are 2 different sized boxes available as add-ons, which can sit inside of the corresponding ship-cutouts.
• these are great for storing (small) game cards, maneuver wheels and tokens.
• these boxes can be closed with a rubber band (not included), so nothing falls out during transport.

Add-on iron foil:

• pre-cut for the spaceship spaces, in the right amount for your Tournament Tray (3 large & 10 small or 2 large & 14 small, depending on the layout)
• with adhesive backing – sticks by itself
• just glue a magnet to the underside of the spaceship holders (not included)
• increases the stability of the spaceships on the tray during moving around, as the magnets hold on the iron foil
• this way the ships don’t fall off even if you turn the tray over

Can the wood and acrylic be painted?

Yes, of course!

You can use regular acrylic colors to paint the wood (airbrush or spray can is recommended for large areas). Also the markers and templates can easily be painted with regular acrylic colors.

We developed a modular system with two different storage boxes that can hold everything your need for a game.

At home, things are organized and always ready to go, and once at the game venue, you have everything you need to quickly start playing.

These boxes are held together with the Tournament Tray, which work as bottom and top covers, so that there is no unnecessary stuff that just takes up space and makes things complicated. At the game, remove your ships, set up the Token Box, insert the Template Tray and you are ready for battle.

You can use one, two or three of the boxes in any combination you like. The connector locks will come in the needed size for your combination. So, if you pledge for one box, there will be one short connector. If you pledge for multiple boxes, there will be two sizes of connectors included, so that you can choose to take more or less of the boxes with you.

Token & Card Storage Box features:   

• 2 removable token-inserts for a total of 18 x 10 tokens and 4 x 10 target-lock tokens (up to 220 tokens total)
• keeps the tokens sorted, so its easy to pick the one you need at the moment during the game. No searching for the right one.
• a felt lined dice-area underneath the token inserts
• space for large cards (including sleeves)
• adjustable space for small cards (including sleeves)
• space for maneuver wheels and dice
• the template tray can be inserted at an angle, so that during the game, everything is in easy reach.
• interior height 4,5 cm / 1,8 inches

Spaceship storage box features:

• freely configurable interior, so that most ships can be safely stored.
• more than 20 dividers in varying sizes to optimally utilize the space.
• rearrange the interior to your needs anytime, as the dividers are not glued in.
• also gives you the space for maneuver wheels, meteorites, spaceship stands etc.
• everything well organized and ready to go!
• interior height 4,5 cm / 1,8 inches
• please note that, especially for D&DAW, not all models will fit in height.

3-D printable spaceship holders:

• to protect your valuable ships during transport.
• download for free & 3D-print the 3D spaceship holders once they become unlocked.
• 3D print them yourself at home / via a friend or use a service.
• these can be glued into the box, and the ships thus securely transported.
• there are several different ones available, short, long, 90° angle in different length, and for large ships also.
• If there is enough interest in us supplying the 3-D printable holders, we could make them available as an add-on. This may slightly delay delivery of the first batch of rewards. If you are interested in this option, please mention it in the comment section.

Please note: All items are precision-laser cut. All acrylic is 3mm thick high quality laser-grade acrylic. All wood is 3mm thick MDF. Wood kits (trays and boxes) come un-assembled as a kit. Only wood glue is needed for assembly, but not included. All items come unpainted. Assembly instructions provided of course, assembly is easy and only takes a few minutes.

Everything has been fully developed and tested, nonetheless please note that the final product may vary marginally from the shown prototypes, as we may further improve things for better functionality or optics.
