Gameplay Videos for Vanguard of War Land on YouTube

The eagerly anticipated gameplay videos for Vanguard of War (VoW), Archon Studio’s tower defense board game on Kickstarter, have finally arrived. Board game and war gamming resource Beasts of War (www.beastsofwar.com) played through the first Tier of the game as part of their “Let’s Play” video series and YouTuber UndeadViking posted a detailed commissioned review of VoW’s gameplay and key components.

Beasts of War released Let’s Play: Vanguard of War on their TheBeastsOfWar YouTube channel on January 24, 2017. Host Justin McAuley spoke highly of the VoW’s detailed miniatures and praised the game’s difficulty, saying, “The game is designed to actually push you really hard and make you work for your victory, but you feel really good when you do.” Let’s Play: Vanguard of War can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYDdddXaEc4.

Archon Studio commissioned UndeadViking YouTuber Lance Myxter to produce a video review of VoW as well. Myxter thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with the game, saying, “I just really see this as one of those really, really good games I’m going to have hit the table a great deal over the next several years.” UndeadViking’s Vanguard of War Review can be at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJrDxd9QppY.

Vanguard of War (VoW) is a 1-4 player board game with highly-detailed miniatures and ruthless tower defense gameplay. Players field four heroes tasked with defending a solitary church from an army of demons. Each hero brings unique skills and abilities to the battlefield, and players will need to master them to all if they hope to achieve victory.
