Mixing armour and weapon strength, each tank has a specific role in this task force. The Panzer 38 (t) is mainly for scouting and skirmishing enemy forces, it doesn’t have the armament to deal with a full frontal assault. The Panzer III is the main battle tank, operating with the intent to deal with the main enemy force and holding the line. Which leaves the Tiger tank, sent in to deal with the heavy hitter in the enemy army, designed to break through enemy lines and to break their spirits.

With 8+ armour, a light anti-tank gun and 2 MMGs, the Panzer 38(t) is very capable of dealing with bothersome infantry squads and light transports but anything bigger should be left to the Panzer III. Equipped with a medium anti-tank gun, the Panzer III would be your go-to vehicle to deal with the main enemy force medium tanks. But anything heavier needs to be dealt with by the Tiger I, using its super-heavy anti-tank gun!

Panzer 38(t) Stat Profile

Cost:	108pts (Inexperienced), 135pts (Regular), 162pts (Veteran).
Weapons:	1 turret-mounted light anti-tank gun with co-axial MMG and 1 forward-facing hull-mounted MMG.
Damage value:	8+ (light tank).
Options:	Replace all weapons with a turret-mounted light automatic cannon with co-axial MMG for -30pts (reconnaissance variant).

Panzer III Ausf H Stat Profile

Cost:	160pts (Inexperienced), 200pts (Regular), 240pts (Veteran).
Weapons:	1 turret-mounted medium anti-tank gun with co-axial MMG and 1 forward-facing hull-mounted MMG.
Damage value:	9+ (medium tank).

Demonstrating the full might of the Russian army, replicate the German push-back of 1944 with an army of T-34s! The T-34 superior chassis design ultimately won over the German vehicles of the period. Equipped either with a 76.2mm F-34 gun or an 85mm ZiS-S-53 gun, the T-34 proved itself to be one of the most iconic tanks of the war.

Both versions of the T-34 can be used to deal with any threat the enemy can put onto the table, even the medium anti-tank gun can deal with the likes of a Tiger I, and with a bit of luck, even a Tiger II. Every tank has 2 MMGs as well, making them more than capable of handling infantry squads.

T-34/76 Stat Profile
