Afterglow is a post-apocalyptic miniature game system, developed by Polish company White Tree. The game takes place at bands/small groups level, in which each miniature has its fully unique role. But this is not a “classic” skirmish, in which it comes to killing all members of an opponent team… It’s about the schemes, objectives and tactics.
Afterglow is primarily climate – the game is set in popular post-apo mainstream, but has a very strong individual trends and characteristics. This is not another clone of Fallout…

Apart from a good, balanced mechanics (rules can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website) and a catchy atmosphere, what is worth noting are miniatures, of course! They are highly detail resin models. Something for not only players but also painters and collectors.

As the Afterglow miniatures are available in Hexy-Shop offer, we decided to introduce some of them to you.

So, at first go dwarves (yes, dwarves live in this amazing world) – a Forge Towns faction!

“Forge Town is an extraordinary sight. Behind high walls, surrounded by the sea of slums and huts, stand brick houses, workshops and great factories. From powerful chimneys clouds of thick black smoke float into the sky. Forge Towns warbands are mostly well equipped and armed dwarves. They are tough and stubborn warriors, led by experienced commanders and engineers using unique inventions.”

You can choose from several types of units:

Engineer
“Engineers are one of the most important figures in the Forge. This position gives them access to all the technologies, tools and parts brought by traders and looters. In their workshops they restore pre-war machines and create new inventions.“

Keeper of Law
“Keepers of the Law are respected dwarves with unflinching reputation, strict and relentless. They lead militia and act as judges and executioners, meting out immediate justice.“

Guardian of the Forge
“Guardians of the Forge are specially selected veterans, experienced warriors who have proven their value in many encounters and battles. As a reward they had opportunity to take the Guardian of the Forge oath and received heavy mechanical power armor. This armor is able to protect against the most powerful blows and gun bullets.“

and some Shield Warrior
“Shield Warriors are the elite units of municipal police. They are trained to work together in order to protect their comrades. In situations of danger Shield Warriors can create armed, impassive wall of shields, on which their enemies will break.”

So all you need to create a well-functioning team.
