DGS Games Release The Truthseeker May 15th

The Varkraalan Truthseeker

A Big Announcement

DGS Games Announced today that they will be releasing the Varkraalan Truthseeker on May 15th, well ahead of the prior June release date.  The Truthseeker will be a model for their popular Freeblades  game.  Freeblades is a 32mm fantasy Skirmish game set in the exciting and dangerous world of Faelon.

The Truthseeker

DGS Games’ Truthseeker is the second Varkraalan that we have seen for their Freeblades Skirmish game.  The first Varkraalan model is a Bounty Hunter that fights with the Black Thorn Bandits Faction. The Truthseeker will be an ally model for most Freebands.  Because of the close ties between the two nations, Kuzaarik Freebands will be able to take the Truthseeker as a faction model.

Varkraalan are religious refugees from the Symker nation of Symidia.  They were expelled from their land during times of religious persecution.  The Eastern country of Symidia also experiences many natural disasters, adding to the migration.  Later, these refugees would settle in the mountains of the Dorsang Danar and begin the nation of Varkraal.  Befriended by the Kuzaarik nation early on, the Varkraal and the Kuzaarik have enjoyed strong ties ever since.

A Noble Pursuit

The Seekers of Varkraal are sects of monks dedicated to the improvement of society. Each sect focuses on a different aspect of spiritual, physical and cognitive improvements. Truthseekers are dedicated to expanding their people’s understanding of the world at large and their place in it. Uncovering hidden knowledge and making important discoveries often involves a certain degree of danger, so Truthseekers train to protect themselves and their fellow citizens. They pursue this training with the same diligence as they pursue wisdom, making them as highly competent in combat as they are in developing their conception of the world.
